Alexander Grace Limited’s advisers have a great deal of experience
in the financial marketplace and bring a powerful combination of
traditional customer service values and innovative financial planning
strategies, based on detailed knowledge of a wide range of financial
markets. Perhaps this is why individuals and companies alike, trust
us with the responsibility of managing their financial future.
Neil Padget
Neil started his career in the Pensions department with Sun Life
Assurance in 1979. His working life has always been client focused
having advised independently for a major Bank, an investment specialist
IFA and a prominent Life Assurance company. He has acquired the
skills to deal fairly with clients in an honest and professional
manner and consequently has built professional connections, which
are crucial to ensure our clients receive quality expert advice.
His expertise also includes the provision and installation of employee
benefits proven as the chosen adviser for the “West Midlands
Business Links”.
A member of the Personal Finance Society through Examination and
their personal and corporate financial planning faculties, he is
also an associate of the Institute of Financial Planning. Neil has
specialist qualifications in Retirement Planning.
My vision:
I want to continue to be part of a
friendly organisation that our clients can trust. We generally know
a great deal about our clients financial arrangements and with this
responsibility comes a duty to care for your wealth through a fair
and honest appraisal of your wishes and circumstances before planning
for the future. I never want to loose sight of the needs of my clients
and I value all the relationships I have.
Rob King
Initially from a traditional banking background, Rob moved into
Financial Services in 1989 having always been a keen personal investor.
Wanting to increase his knowledge and specialism, Rob left to join
a direct sales force which provided excellent training and specialist
products that hitherto he had not known existed. After another 5
years, Rob had gained a lot of experience in both the complexities
of the financial services industry and products and dovetailing
these to meet corporate and personal client’s needs and objectives.
Unfortunately the company was effectively dis-mantled leaving ‘orphaned’
clients without an adviser, Rob felt this was the best opportunity
he would ever have to set up his own business and with the support
of clients and the knowledge he had of the industry there was only
one way to go. That is when in January 2001 we set up Alexander
Grace Limited as a firm of Independent Financial Advisers.
Rob is a member of the Personal Finance Society through Examination
and holds specialist qualifications in Retirement Planning. Although
professional qualifications are important, Rob firmly believes there
is no accounting for experience at the sharp end, its not difficult
to make money when the financial markets are going up but how do
you maximise the ‘ups’ and minimise the ‘downs’,
selecting an asset allocation that is robust in a falling market
is not so easy.
Ambitions for business:
Since setting up Alexander Grace Ltd,
we have achieved a lot and worked hard to build a business that
is robust, truly independent and client focused, clients are our
number one priority and service is as important as investment performance
which we monitor closely.
Neil Robinson
Neil has been advising high net worth individual and corporate
clients since 1994. He has worked for a major Life Assurance company
and became an Independent Financial Adviser in 2001.
A member of the Personal Finance Society through Examination, Neil
has specialist qualifications in Pensions and Retirement Planning.
His specialities are Self Invested Personal Pensions (SIPPs) and
the management of collective investment portfolios.
My vision:
The true value of Independent Advice
can be really seen in a small company like Alexander Grace and I
highly value the ethos and working culture that results along with
the great reward of client trust.
John Morton
John started his career in financial services in 1969 with Abbey
Life. He followed his directors to Hambro Life (Hambros Bank), where
he worked until 1991 as a Financial Adviser specialising in corporate
and personal pensions. Later, the same directors set up J Rothchild
Assurance and John worked with them for 12 months, before deciding
independence was the way forward. He set up as an Independent Financial
Adviser and joined the DBS Network (Sesame), providing financial
planning for all walks of life, both in personal and corporate situations.
During this time, John also ran Financial Planning courses at Evesham
Adult Education college. Reaching a “certain age in life”,
John joined Alexander Grace Ltd, deciding that we would be perfect
advisers for his clients. John continues to work with Alexander
Grace purely on a consultancy basis.
Ambitions for business:
I firmly believe in sharing my knowledge
& depth of financial experience and intend to pursue financial
planning on a generic basis via classroom and one-to-one training/consultancy.
Directors
Neil Padget & Neil Robinson with some key members of the Administration
team.
Mandy, Helen, John, Debbie and Jackie make up our expanding team
and have been handpicked to match the needs of the business, bringing
quality expertise and qualifications to ensure that our clients
continue to be dealt with fairly.
Without them we could not function and it always feels like a family
experience when you deal with them. They will all deal with matters
professionally and have the necessary training to handle all queries
efficiently whatever their particular role. Their input ideas and
hard work are appreciated by the advisers and most importantly by
clients. They do not give advice – but know someone who can!
