At Alexander Grace we value the people that we employ a great deal, and have invested in their development to ensure we give the service our clients deserve. The adviser has a dedicated 'Client Manager' who will have detailed knowledge of the adviser's clients and be on the end of the phone to help clients with any query. In addition we have structured roles for our other staff with specific duties to support the business and our clients' needs.
Having been in Financial Services for 30+ years he has built significant experience working in pensions and investments. After training with Sun Life Assurance and a retirement Counselling firm, he started advising clients in 1986 and even though he has worked in a number of places, still deals with clients from then.
A founder of Alexander Grace, Neil is a Chartered Planner who specialises in Retirement and investment options and financial planning generally. He enjoys presenting on retirement issues and his clientele is mainly south of Birmingham and in London.
Neil is married and has 4 children. Outside of family his main interest is in playing Hockey and is a qualified umpire and football referee.
Became a Financial Planner in 1998 having previously held management positions in small business banking. Rob is a founder of Alexander Grace and over the last decade or so has helped many clients position themselves financially for their future.
He is a highly qualified planner who is passionate about clients achieving what they need from their money and is the leader of the 'Investment Committee' which analyses in detail the investments the firm recommends. He advises clients all-round the Midlands but his main concentration is North of Birmingham.
Rob is married with 3 children and enjoys sport and watching his sons play football and rugby. His interests include all manner of DIY and spending time with his family
Our first Client Manager, joined the firm in 2008 and looks after Neil's clients. She has worked for Financial Planning firms for 22 years and holds the financial planning certificate. Whilst Hilary cannot advise clients, they find her support, knowledge and understanding invaluable. She thoroughly enjoys dealing directly with clients and providing fantastic administrative support.
Hilary is married with 2 daughters and 'Bernie' the hound. She loves cooking and strangely Birmingham City FC!
Our second Client Manager Laura, joined the firm in June 2015 and is dedicated towards Rob’s clients. She has worked for Financial Planning Firms for over 6 years and is making great progress in her studies towards her Diploma in Financial Planning. Laura plays a key role in establishing client relationships, supporting our clients throughout their journey and takes a lot of pride in understanding their Financial Planning needs.
Outside of work Laura likes all sorts of sport, gardening and she is to be married in 2017 - We think he is a lucky fella.
Prav joined us in early 2014 to further enhance our excellent team. He has worked in Financial Services for over 10 years and provided excellent support for our clients whilst with Aviva, we are lucky to have him in the team.
His role is to provide business support with a specialism towards research and also compliance, ensuring that our clients have the very best of financial protection. He enjoys assisting all roles in our business and particularly interaction with clients, as we believe it is important in our firm for all staff to be able to deal with any query.
As a Dad of 2 young children Prav is very 'hands on' and loves DIY. He believes no problem is insurmountable both at home and at work.
Our Finance Manager Mandy brings detail and order to the background in our firm. She is driven to ensure that our clients' financial records and that of the firm are accurate and up to date. Behind the scenes Mandy provides the information the firm needs to support our clients and ensure compliance with our regulator and has successfully taken herself through accountancy exams and started Financial Planning qualifications.
These two ladies provide the valuable administrative support to enable us to deliver the ongoing service to clients. They are also the front line support when answering phones so clients can be assured that any contact with Alexander Grace Limited will be dealt with efficiently and in a friendly, knowledgeable way. Between Jackie & Debbie they have over 50 years in Financial Services administration and have been with our firm for 14 years. They are both married with children of varying ages – This keeps them busy outside of Alexander Grace Limited.
Sally became a member of our review team in August 2015 and brings a young dynamic to our firm.
Our initial meeting is at our expense after which we provide in writing a full explanation of costs. We do nothing until we have a thorough understanding of our client's requirements.
With that knowledge, we can identify the products that will enable our clients to achieve their goals delivered by an entirely personal service. We then prepare and analyse recommendations, assessing benefits against cost.
Our final proposals are well-researched and constructed on the basis of what's best for our clients and nobody else. And of course, we are prepared to work alongside our client's accountants and solicitors.
We firmly believe in the importance of working together to build rewarding relationships and working closely with our clients enables us to help them fulfil and achieve their objectives.
